3 Tbsp. white corn syrup
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups powdered sugar
Place above mixture in refrigerator until it stiffens.
Drain 1 10oz. jar maraschino cherries drained very well. Remove filling from refrigerator, take small amounts of filling and place the filling around a cherry, I like to shape each one then replace in refrigerator.
Melt almond bark for dipping the cherries into or melt 1 12oz. package chocolate chips with 1/2 a square of paraffin. Melt in a pan over hot water or in the microwave. Dip the covered cherries into the melted chocolate and place on wax paper to cool.
