Best ever easy Chicken Wraps Bake
1 12oz can chicken drained(Its located where the tune is in the store) mixed with 1/2 can water.
1 Can Cresent Rolls(Located in the refrigerated section in the store by the butter and eggs.)
1 8oz package cream cheese(I buy the low fat.)
1 regular size can Cream of Chicken Soup, either regular flavor or herb flavor if you like food a little more spicy.
1/2 Stick melted butter or margarine
1/2 Cup bread crumbs(Located in the baking section.) I buy the regular flavor so I can use them for other recipes.
In a small bowl mix the cream cheese and the chicken together making the filling
Open the Cresent Rolls, there are 10 or so rolls to a can just take out one at a time and flatten it out, put a dab of the chicken mixture in it, then fold it up. Melt 1 stick of mararine or butter, roll each chicken wrap in the melted butter or mararine then roll in the bread crumbs. Place the wraps in a cassarole dish sprayed with a vegetable cooking spray for easier clean up. If you don’t have cooking spray rub the bottom and sides of the dish lightly with a vegetable oil.
Mix the Cream of Chicken soup with 1/2 a can of milk and pour over the wraps.
Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes the wraps should become a golden brown.
I like to serve these with mashed potatoes having the gravy already it tastes good on the potato’s. Add a colorful vegetable as a side dish .
*Tips. Cream of Chicken soup comes in several flavors, my son likes to use the one that has herbs in it, but i like less spices so i like it plain.
When stretching the little pices of dough don’t worry to much about how they look. It will taste good.
You can make this without using the bread crumbs too, I forgot about putting them on once and it still was great.
I live alone so I buy 2 of the small cans of cresent rolls, which makes 6 I think, then I freeze the rest of the chicken mixture for using later. I just place it in a plastic freezing bag. You can always thaw it quickly in the microwave. The second can of rolls will last a very long time in the refrigerator.
Also I use the whole can of soup, even on the half batch, so I get an extra can of that too. If you want more gravy, add one package chicken gravy, mix and 1 cup water. This will give you lots of gravy.
